Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC)

EPRC is designed with the primary goal of contributing to sustainable growth and development in Uganda through the advancement of research-based knowledge and policy analysis. In pursuit of this goal, the Centre undertakes applied economics research and operates programs for capacity development in policy work. Using a core team of in-house researchers EPRC makes enormous contributions to policy research and analysis. Based on the recognition it enjoys as a leader in research and capacity building, EPRC has succeeded in establishing, and continuous to maintain, strong national and international institutional linkages. In fulfilling its mandate to provide intellectual leadership in the search for policies and strategies that are suited to the needs of Uganda, EPRC maintains close interaction with government, private sector, donor and other partner institutions. The Centre provides a forum for policy information filtering, amplification and dissemination.
