Environmental and social management framework - Burkina faso

The Desert-to-Power Initiative (“DtP” or “Initiative”) aims to harness the solar potential of 11 Sahel countries (Burkina Faso, Chad, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Sudan) to deploy 10 GW of solar photovoltaic (PV) power by 2030 and provide access to electricity to around 250 million people currently without access to electricity through a combination of on-grid and off-grid solutions.

National Policy on Special Needs Education

The Federal Ministry of Education constituted a Committee to develop exclusively the first broad -based National Policy on Special Needs Education (SNE) in Nigeria. The constitution of the drafting committee with the mandate to formulate a National Policy on Special Needs Education gave birth to the National Situation Analysis Report. This implies that the status has changed to a National Policy (an expanded version) thereby widening its scope and activities.

Botswana - Education & Training Sector Strategic Plan (ETSSP 2015-2020)

The ETSSP sets out many of the challenges facing the education sector and the varied strategies, programmes and activities to meet the challenges. The strategic plan identifies areas of priority in order to focus resources in an efficient and effective manner on those areas in the education sector that will contribute most in enhancing the quality of learning at the different levels in the education system. It also presents the indicative costs of the planned activities and indication of sub-sector priority actions.

Botswana - Intergrated Health Service Plan 2010-2020

The Integrated Health Service Plan (IHSP) is the strategy that presents the vision for the improvement of the health status and health care of the population in the Republic of Botswana up to 2020. It identifies priority areas and aims to ensure that those health services that are being delivered will provide the highest possible benefits for all citizens.

A health system, defined by the World Health Organisation (WHO), includes all the actors and activities the primary purpose of which is to promote, improve, or maintain the health of the citizens.
